Royal Huisman project 400 – SEA EAGLE II – spreads her wings and has left the nest which was her home since she was created at the shipyard in Vollenhove, The Netherlands.

Project 400 — Sea Eagle II is Royal Huisman’s largest yacht ever commissioned. She is destined for a repeat Owner who built his 142-foot (43-meter) sailing yacht Sea Eagle at Royal Huisman in 2015. Sea Eagle II represents the owner’s ultimate dream-yacht. She is a 266-foot ( 81 meter) contemporary three-masted schooner. Royal Huisman is collaborating with Dykstra Naval Architects and designer Mark Whiteley, to make this owner’s aspiration into a reality.

Project 400 is progressing on schedule; her carbon composite Rondal Panamax rig will be installed upon launch at Royal Huisman Amsterdam to ready her for sea trials and on-board crew training. With an imposing overall length and sturdy plumb bow, Sea Eagle II will be ranked among the top 10 of the world’s largest sailing yachts. Upon delivery to her Owner this spring, Sea Eagle II will be the world’s largest aluminum sailing yacht.
