Patrick Knowles Designs (PKD), Michael Rybovich & Sons (MR&S), and the owner’s captain Jody Whitworth— along with teams from Metrica (Germany), Poseidon Marine Electronics and Ward’s Marine Power Management System —have brought in a spectrum of experience to this sportfishing project.
At 94-feet (28.6 meters) with a beam of 22-feet, tis sport fishing yacht is akin to a luxury megayacht. However her function and performance proves she is a fish fighter and contender against all residents of the sea.

Patrick Knowles, owner of Patrick Knowles Designs commented, “Any preconceived images you conjure in your mind of a sportfishing yacht’s aesthetics and design will indeed be defied when you view III Amigos.”
The vessel has a full beam master cabin, a portside cabin and a starboard twin cabin all with ensuite heads, plus an ample amount of personalization for a unique and very specific owner throughout.

Among her special features: a low profile soffit dubbed the ‘laser soffit’ emanating a crisp, even flow of indirect lighting, tongue & groove overhead planks, Azul Bahia stone hand selected in Italy, wood plank decks and a clever dinette arrangement with the fit and finish inspired by the cockpit of one of the owners custom Ferraris, replete with details the likes of 2 in-wall glove boxes.

“I have had the pleasure of working with this owner on previous projects and therefore I was able appease his personality with customized details like the one-of-a-kind PKD designed barstools with genuine Florida alligator hide, a dinette inspired by the fit and finish of a Ferrari cabin and all the galley equipment necessities – the owner happens to be a chef,” said Knowles.
“Using the owner’s own brand benchmark of contrast with his desire for a yacht that felt like ‘one with the water’, we created an impressive blend of color, depth and texture that truly culminated in a strikingly gorgeous vessel that still remains true to the fish fighter she is meant to be”
III Amigos is scheduled for delivery in 2021.
