The Crew Coach, a crew training and development company owned and run by Allison Rentoul, has signed an exclusive partnership with Camper & Nicholsons to provide team workshops and professional development for Camper-managed yachts.
Once an Olympic-class sailor, the original owner wanted this yacht not only to be a classic and comfortable expedition yacht capable of braving the toughest seas, but also to be a real tool in the fight against global warming.
The royal subjects of King Haakon VII collectively purchased the Royal Yacht Norge for their king’s 75th birthday. During WWII, the yacht served as an escort vessel and resumed her duties as royal yacht after a 1948 refit. In 1985, a fire that started during routine maintenance spared only the yacht’s hull and engine room. Norway’s then-Monarch King Olav had the yacht rebuilt.
