Pershing has officially launched the new GTX70, the most compact and dynamic model in its groundbreaking Sport Utility Yacht range. Unveiled in Capri during the brand’s 40th anniversary celebration, the GTX70 carries forward the hallmark “grand turismo” styling, athletic performance, and luxurious liveability of the GTX line—now in a more agile, 21.76-meter format.

The latest addition to the series is the product of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee (led by Piero Ferrari), Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department. Constructed at the Ferretti Group’s Plug and Mould facility and completed in Mondolfo, the yacht embodies cutting-edge innovation and Italian craftsmanship.

Despite its compact footprint, the GTX70 offers enhanced space and comfort. Interiors are 10% roomier, and exterior areas are 30% larger compared to typical models in its size class. The result is a highly functional layout, comfortably accommodating up to six guests across three cabins and two expansive decks with a sportbridge.

Main Deck Innovations

One of the standout features is the stern area, configured across two levels. The lower beach club can be expanded to 23 square meters by unfolding the side terraces. A dual-mode swim platform makes it easy to launch a Williams 325 tender or a jet ski. A sun pad and optional retractable awning add both comfort and shade.

The upper cockpit features a C-shaped sofa and dining table beneath the extended sportfly, promoting indoor-outdoor flow. A unique glass partition and folding door system opens the U-shaped galley to the cockpit, enhancing sociability. The open-plan layout connects seamlessly to the salon, where twin L-shaped sofas, an extending table, and a pop-up TV provide both style and functionality.

Lower Deck Comfort

Accessed via the main deck, the lower level contains three en suite cabins. The full-beam master suite sits amidships with its own walk-in wardrobe and a sound-buffered layout for increased privacy. The forward VIP has an offset bed to maximize floor space, while the guest cabin features two crosswise beds. A laundry room and crew quarters forward complete the arrangement.

Design details like mirror finishes and integrated LED light strips by Altraluce amplify space and illumination, continuing the upscale ambiance below deck.

Generous Sportbridge

The sundeck spans 16 square meters and is divided into sunbathing, dining, and helm areas. An aft sunpad connects to an L-shaped sofa and dining table, with an integrated outdoor galley nearby. A three-seat helm station occupies the forward section, designed for optimal visibility and docking control. Optional shade solutions include carbon-fiber pole awnings or a sleek bimini top.

Performance and Technology

Powered by triple Volvo Penta D13 IPS1200 units (900 HP each), the GTX70 delivers a thrilling top speed of 36 knots and cruises comfortably at 30 knots. Cutting-edge systems include Volvo’s electro-hydraulic steering, Humphree interceptors, and Seakeeper gyrostabilizers. Built to CE Class A standards, the GTX70 offers the highest safety classification under 24 meters.
