Fort Lauderdale 2012: Icon Yachts – Baton Rouge

With styling by Tim Heywood and an interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon, Baton Rouge is a six-deck full-displacement yacht with every conceivable luxury. This 205-foot (63-meter) yacht includes multiple salons and dining areas, both inside and out, as well as accommodations for 12 guests in seven cabins including the 1,076-square-foot (100-square-meter) master suite.

Holland Update: Were Do We Go From Here?

We came back from a tour of the Dutch shipyards, organized by the Dutch yachting association (part of a larger association promoting the Dutch marine industry, known as HISWA), with some positive news. Most (if not all) the Dutch shipyards have a number of big yachts currently under construction and the future looks bright.

Monaco 2012: Icon – Maidelle

Maidelle (project Midlandia) is Icon Yachts’ third 205-foot (62.5-meter) motoryacht. She follows Icon, delivered in 2009, and Baton Rouge, delivered in 2010. Built for an experienced owner, she features exterior styling by Redman Whiteley Dixon Design and a tasteful interior design from Cristiano Gatto.
