The 226-foot (69-meter) Spectre is the third Benetti for American owners John and Jeanette Staluppi, following the 171-foot (52-meter) Quantum of Solace and the 197-foot (60-meter) Diamonds are Forever.
The Staluppis have built or refitted numerous yachts, naming each one after an Ian Fleming book or James Bond film.
Spectre is a fully custom yacht with a hull drawn by Dutch firm Mulder Design.

The yacht is fitted with a Naiad Dynamics Ride Control system. She has a range of 6,500 nautical miles at 12 knots and a top speed of more than 21 knots—30 percent more than a traditional displacement hull could achieve, the builder says.
Exterior styling is by Giorgio M. Cassetta. The art deco interior is by Benetti’s in-house team. Her layout accommodates 12 guests and includes two owner staterooms and two VIPs on the main deck.
