AB Yachts, a brand of the Next Yacht Group with over 30 years of leadership in the high-performance yacht sector, is experiencing a period of strong momentum. Testament to this was its participation in the Venice Boat Show with the AB 100, two launches in May, the delivery of the new AB 130 flagship, and an international accolade at the World Superyacht Awards.

The 30-meter AB 100 reaches 50 knots while offering silent cruising with no vibration, and elegant, light-filled spaces that enhance both absolute comfort and a deep connection with the sea. The model offers a unique mix of adrenaline and sophistication—and in its Superfast version, it reaches 60 knots.

The AB 110, launched in June 2024, took home the win at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards in the category “Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts, 30–39.9 m.” The award ceremony was held in Venice on May 3. The second unit of the AB 110 was scheduled to be launched by the end of the month, ready for sea trials and final outfitting.

On May 19, the fourth unit of the AB 80 hit the water. At 25.4 meters, its top speed exceeds 55 knots. Designed for owners who enjoy piloting their yacht, it offers top-tier comfort and advanced onboard technology. The launch marks the first yacht delivered from the historic Viareggio shipyard, which recently became the group’s new headquarters. Both of the group’s primary facilities are undergoing full renovations. The headquarters, which houses the outfitting processes and offices and has tripled production capacity, and the AB Yachts & Maiora Deck Lounge, comprise an ideal space to welcome clients and can host up to seven yachts from both ranges afloat.

The crown jewel of the shipyard, the first unit of the AB 130, also has just been delivered. At 40 meters, it takes the sailing experience to a new level with its expandable beach area, on-demand sea-view pool, float-in garage, and waterjets that push the yacht beyond 40 knots. It features the latest Seakeeper stabilizers and has a shallow draft of just 1.3 meters.

“AB Yachts is experiencing a phase of strong growth and renewal, as we focus on strengthening our leadership in the high-performance yacht segment,” said Sebastiano Fanizza, CEO of Next Yacht Group. “Every milestone we reach reflects our drive to push the boundaries of speed, technology, and design, always with a keen eye on our owners’ desires for customization. Today more than ever, our goal is to deliver unparalleled sailing experiences, anticipating the expectations of tomorrow’s owners and listening closely to the dreams of those who choose to sail with us.”
