The shipyard recently inaugurated a new 4,000-ton ShipLift, an innovative system for hauling, launching and maneuvering megayachts of up to 95 meters LOA. The system has a submersible platform housed inside a dedicated structure that elevates vessels to ground level with a series of synchronized hoists, allowing the shipyard to consolidate its international leadership. Situated in the Port of Genoa stretching over 60,000 m2, Amico & Co can receive large yachts without length restrictions and can dry-dock, in covered sheds, vessels of up to 100 meters. The shipyard is known for its in-house departments, high quality standards and the speed with which it can perform work—factors that have generated a consistent growth in the company’s reputation and a growing percentage of return business.
