68: Tueq

De Voogt designed the yacht with naval architecture by Azure and SETE Yacht (now PrivatSea) managed the project’s various subcontractors. It was a commercial shipyard (specializing mostly in the construction of ferries) that built the vessel in only 26 months, which probably helped Tueq escape scrutiny when she was launched.

67: Delphine

Delphine, the last private yacht to navigate with a steam boiler, has had a remarkable history. Great Lakes Engineering Works built the yacht for car industry magnate Horace Dodge who tragically passed away prior to her launch in 1921. She had some illustrious voyages, mainly on the Great Lakes, but was primarily used for cocktail parties.

66: Pegasus V

Now under new ownership, this landmark yacht sports a new blue boot stripe and name. The ex-Princess Mariana, previously owned by a Mexican billionaire who named her after his reputedly stunning wife, was spotted in Fort Lauderdale with a new nameplate after news of her sale became public in May 2011.

64: Talitha G

Krupp Germaniawerft built Reveler, a Cox & Stevens design, for Packard Automobiles’ Chairman Russell Alger. At the onset of World War II she became the USS Beaumont, a name she kept until 1947 when she was decommissioned and refitted at Bath Iron Works for the owner of the Woolworth department store chain.

63: Stargate

The Emirate of Qatar is home to a growing yacht fleet that includes Al Mirqab, Katara, a shadow vessel, and two sister ships—Constellation and Stargate—both built by Oceanco and designed by the A Group. Stargate is identical in size to Constellation, with an interior layout and design by the A Group in collaboration with Camillo Costantini.

62: Constellation

The Emirate of Qatar is home to a growing yacht fleet that includes Al Mirqab, Katara, a shadow vessel, and two sister ships—Constellation and Stargate—both built by Oceanco and designed by the A Group. Jean-Pierre Fantini collaborated with the A Group on the yacht’s minimalist and low maintenance interior for the Emir of Qatar, Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

61: Amevi

Luxury full-displacement yacht Amevi is another member of Oceanco’s innovative fleet. Built with steel hull and aluminum superstructure, she owes her sleek silhouette to the design team of Nuvolari & Lenard, and her interior to Alberto Pinto. Occasionally available for charter, the yacht has six decks affording 12 guests enormous space for entertainment and relaxation.

60: Golden Odyssey

Blohm + Voss has built several of the Middle East’s iconic vessels, including Golden Odyssey. Saudi Prince Khaled Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz owns Golden Odyssey, the largest of his “Golden Fleet”. The explorer-style yacht often navigates with the Marco Yachts-built support yacht Golden Shadow, the 98-foot sport fisherman Golden Osprey, and the Golden Eye Cessna 280 seaplane equipped with Wipaire floats.

59: Norge

The royal subjects of King Haakon VII collectively purchased the Royal Yacht Norge for their king’s 75th birthday. During WWII, the yacht served as an escort vessel and resumed her duties as royal yacht after a 1948 refit. In 1985, a fire that started during routine maintenance spared only the yacht’s hull and engine room. Norway’s then-Monarch King Olav had the yacht rebuilt.

58: Air

Feadship Koninklijke De Vries launched and christened Air, the largest superyacht the shipyard has built to date at its Aalsmeer facility. De Voogt Naval Architects and Rémi Tessier collaborated on the minimalist inteior design of this yacht with a “Harley Davidson-black” hull. Project Manager International Yacht Register has the yacht available for charter.
