Cantieri di Pisa’s refit division has successfully completed two major projects ahead of schedule: a 41-meter motor yacht built by Feadship and a 43-meter sailing yacht by Perini Navi. These recent deliveries are part of a strong 2025 season, with 30 yachts already completed—totaling over 1,500 meters in length—and another 10 set to be returned to their owners in the coming weeks.

The 43-meter Perini Navi sailing yacht, built in 2000 and managed by Monte Carlo-based Simonazzi Yachts, was a particularly complex project due to its size and configuration. To allow the vessel to enter the Canale dei Navicelli and access the shipyard, the yacht was dismasted. Once in the yard, the team undertook extensive work, including full repainting of the hull and masts. A class renewal completed the refit, and the yacht is now ready for a new Mediterranean cruising season.

The 41-meter Feadship motor yacht, delivered in 1981, also underwent significant upgrades. The project included repairs to the metal hull and a full overhaul of onboard systems, most notably replacing the yacht’s stabilizers with modern electric units. The refit, managed by Viareggio-based Vannucci Group Agenzie Marittime, was carried out in two stages—technical and aesthetic. With its refreshed look and upgraded systems, the yacht is now ready for charter and summer cruising.

These two deliveries reflect Cantieri di Pisa’s expertise in handling a wide range of refit projects, from complex sailing yachts to classic motor vessels. Over the past season, the yard has completed work on more than 30 yachts of various sizes and origins, serving owners from around the world.

The shipyard occupies 24,000 square meters and employs a core team of nearly 30 professionals. Including subcontractors and third-party specialists, the total workforce involved in each project ranges between 200 and 300 people. The facility is equipped with advanced infrastructure, including a 300-ton travel lift and a heavy-duty trolley, enabling the yard to accommodate large and technically demanding vessels.

These recent successes underscore the yard’s growing reputation for delivering high-quality refit work on time and to exacting standards.
