VSY and the Italian Ministry of the Environment Sign Agreement

This summer, Viareggio Super Yacht’s Director, Cristiana Longarini, and General Director for Sustainable Development, Climate and Energy of the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Corrado Clini, met onboard VSY’s new Stella Maris. During the meeting, Longarini and Clini signed an agreement promoting the reduction of shipbuilding’s impact on the environment. Under the terms of this arrangement, VSY will strive to utilize energy, materials and resources that do no harm to the planet’s fragile ecosystems. It will also support the initiatives and policies of the Kyoto Protocol and the EU “Climate-Energy Package.”
