Aim Marine group Pavilion hosts big bash

The AIM Marine Group, now six magazines strong and comprising several of the world’s most important boat shows, including the Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, hosted a raucous party aboard the South Beach Lady to celebrate its first anniversary in February. An unexpected winter rain shower did not stop party revelers from enjoying live music, dancing, buffets and an open bar on the boat’s generous air-conditioned decks. The Lady also hosted the signature AIM Marine Group Pavilion, a great place to escape the crowd, grab lunch, enjoy a cocktail with friends, mingle and find out more about the Pavilion’s exhibitors. Gracing the AIM Marine Pavilion this year were amazing bronzes by Chiurazzi, the creator of fine molds for exquisite reproductions of Renaissance sculptures. Crocs displayed all sorts of comfortable footwear, including a newly introduced line of shoes suited to wear on a boat deck. The Exumas’ finest private resort available for “charter,” Over Yonder Cay, was there along with Mayan Island, a 350-acre resort development near Ambergris Caye in tropical Belize. AIG, Bank of America, Concord Marine Electronics and Ocean Reef joined them as event and Pavilion sponsors.
