The Boys and Girls Clubs of Newport County to host New Yacht Event

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County will present their first Newport Yacht Rendezvous on Thursday,

August 14th and Friday, August 15th. The two-day event will include a Superyacht Hop at the Newport Shipyard and a Dinner and Dance Party at one of Newport’s gilded age mansions, “Rosecliff.”

“We’re thrilled to host this Superyacht Hop as one of the many ways in which the community can support the Boys & Girls Club,” said Kim Herrlinger, Event Co-Chair and Boys & Girls Club Board Member. “The Yacht Hop is a great complement to our existing dinner dance while celebrating the Yachting Community and all of Newport.

The inaugural festivities for “Newport Nights” will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 14th at the Newport Shipyard, where guests will enjoy “hopping” aboard luxury yachts from Rhode Island and beyond.

On Friday, August 15th, the party continues at 7PM at the Rosecliff Mansion as guests return with their dancing shoes to party the night away at the 35th Annual Boys & Girls Club Dinner Dance. Reservations are required.
