Raising the Roof on Auxiliary Transport
The 35-foot (10.5-meter) Michael Peters–designed Hodgdon Limo tender is a versatile fiberglass and carbon-fiber beauty. The hydraulically raising roof means guests won’t dampen their spirits in inclement weather or miss out on a sunny day. This feature provides easy boarding and 360-degree ventilation. The tender sports a classic teak sole, leather seating for 12, boarding port or starboard and a refrigerator/bar. Outfitting options are numerous, but the tinted retractable windows, state-of-the-art entertainment system, drink holders and nook for a champagne bucket are all standard. A single Volvo Penta D6-370 engine propels the limo to 34 knots at half load and a bowthruster ensures easy docking. Luxury superyacht-builder Oceanco appears to be a Hodgdon Limo fan: The 282-foot (86-meter) Seven Seas already has two.
