Mirage Tender

If you’re going to be in Miami next week, you might want to stop by the Mirage display at the convention center to see the company’s newest collared tender, the 11-foot XP Jet. The tender’s closed cell foam collar provides plenty of protection when docking alongside the mother ship, and while compact, the tender offers good space inside for gear, passengers, and toys. The boat was also designed with the tight fit of a tender garage in mind and should store easily on most yachts. Mirage looks to add several new designs and options including outboard, gas and diesel jet up to 24 feet.

New Novurania model lines for 2013

Novurania has had a busy year including the acquisition of Nautica in late 2012. With that merger, though, came the Nautica product molds. A few tweaks and redesigns later, Novurania has announced a new model line for 2013 that includes boats from 16 to 40 feet. What can you expect to see hitting the water this year? At the very least an enclosed cabin model, a catamaran, a new X-Series, an Express, and an XP-Jet. We’ll be sure to keep you informed of new model information as it’s released.

Bristol Yacht swim ladder

Bristol Yacht Components (BYC) has already introduced their lightweight collapsible boarding stair, but now they bring to market a new product: the Bristol swim ladder. Like the boarding stairs, this swim ladder is an all-carbon fiber design with UV-resistant clear coat finish and marine-grade stainless steel hardware. Equipped with five easy-on-the-feet steps and an additional three handholds, the ladder makes it easy to get out of the water. The ladder easily fits into the vessel’s staple receiver with adapters available for custom sized receiver holes.
