Geco the new 55-meter motoryacht of the Admiral fleet, the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group was launched last week.

Geco was developed internally in collaboration with the Group’s Art Director, Architect Gian Marco Campanino. The vessel bears striking Italian design from her bow to the stern. Her beach club features high glass side walls designed to offer protection on windy days and a large sunbathing platform with staircase access to the sea.

The external areas of Geco include sculptural elements such as the bar counter, the sunbathing areas and the stainless steel stairs that connect the different decks. The upper deck has external/internal areas connected by a sliding glass door which eliminates the separation between the upper hall, the external hall and the dining area; the bar area is also designed without interruption between internal and external environments.

Geco has heliport positioned on the foredeck. The sun deck features a Jacuzzi and a gym area. The interior is a blend of French flair and contemporary Italian design. French wooden boiserie, precious Italian marbles, bronzed metal details and leather walls create a decidedly sophisticated environment. The materials, from wengé wood, natural oak and golden Calacatta marble. Geco’s color palate includes neutral nuances accented by bronzed metal details and bold tones such as navy blue and cognac orange. In the circular designed dining room, is a huge chandelier with hundreds of rods of colored crystals.

Geco can accommodate up to 12 guests in an owner’s suite with private study, a VIP stateroom and four guest staterooms.

Geco is expected to be delivered in July 2020.
