Nerissa, the first of the 48m Bilgin 156 series, has launched according to the Turkish shipyard. 

A spokesperson for Bilgin Yachts said the vessel weighed in exactly on target and settled into her lines perfectly with no need for ballasting. 

At 499 gross tons, Nerissa marries bold proportions with graceful lines. Her original interior design is by H2 Yacht Design, while naval architecture is by Unique Yacht Design of Antalya. Nerissa is a full-displacement motoryacht, with a hi-tensile steel hull and aluminum superstructure. She’s capable of a 4,000-mile range and will reach a top speed of 16 knots. 

With a majority of her technical system trials already performed in the shed, Nerissa now undergoes final fit-out, commissioning and sea trials before being sent on her way to the South of France, where she will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.
