Cantiere delle Marche had a banner year in 2018. The company has a record number of yachts under contract and is fully booked with orders until 2022.

Founded in 2010, CdM claims it is now building nearly 60 percent of the world’s steel and aluminum explorer vessels between 100 and 140 feet in length. The fledgling builder, based in Ancona, Italy, offers five different yacht models: the Darwin Class, the Nauta Air, the Acciaio range, the Flexplorer, and its newest, the Aurelia. It is also building a few one-off explorers from 128 feet to 141 feet in length (39 to 43 meters).

CdM works with such acclaimed designers Sculli/Floating Life, Francesco Paszkowski, Horacio Bozzo and Tommaso Spadolini.

In order to meet the market demand, the shipyard recently added a new shed for yachts up to 164 feet (50 meters) and is constructing yet another new large building facility to increase capacity.
