Italy-based Columbus Yachts sold the first unit of its new 154-foot/ 47-meter Atlantique, which follows the sale of the two Atlantique 141-footers/ 43-meter yachts currently under construction at the Ancona shipyard.

“With the signing of this new contract, the number of newbuild orders nailed down by Palumbo Superyachts in the last 12 months surges to 8, confirming the complete success of the strategy embraced by the Group in recent years”, comments Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts.

The new Columbus Atlantique 47 project, designed by the Milan-based ‘Hot Lab’ studio, is devoted to the “Architecture for Voyagers” philosophy for an authentically stylistic superyacht configured for an Owner looking for an adventure by sea.

Atlantique 47 comprises four double cabins with an en-suite bathroom located below deck, a full-beam owner suite on the main deck, a second swimming pool on the forward upper deck and a sun deck dedicated to relaxation and entertaining. The vessel was specifically designed to a volume of 499GT and is due for delivery in 2023.

The beach club on the main deck transom is characterized by two folding side-wings and a large central swimming pool sloping towards the sea.

Two engines of 1350 hp each will push it to a maximum speed of 15.5 knots, cruise at 14.5 knots and provide a range of 3400 nautical miles at 12 knots.

The Atlantique 47 offers a series of eco-friendly solutions such as water purifiers and low fuel consumption propulsion system to minimize negative impact on the environment offer constant energy saving.
