Gasps of admiration among onlookers could be heard as Feadship launched 187-foot (57-meter) Halo in a private ceremony at the Kaag yard. The bespoke motoryacht was outfitted in just 33 months at the behest of the owner, who had previously chartered Feadship’s Helix.

Her radical exterior styling by Eidsgaard Design was intended to emanate reflections of the environment.

“From a [forward] view, signature silver arches appear to run up, over and down the aft end of the yacht,” explained Peder Eidsgaard. “As Halo drives past, however, you notice that the aft tip of the arch is actually turning upward. This creates a subtle, playful tail, which is an important part of the yacht’s character.” As the first superyacht design project by Bernardi Peschard, Halo’s interior comprises a modern blend of light and dark woods with bronze inlays. Cruising at 16 knots, Halo has a range of 5,000 nautical miles.
