Admiral – the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group – presents their new 180ft/ 55m charter yacht Geco. Her innovative design was developed internally in collaboration with the art director of the Group and the architect Gian Marco Campanino. She is striking from bow to stern. Her “beach club” area features high glass side walls designed to offer protection on windy days and a large sunbathing platform served by an ultra-modern staircase to facilitate access to the sea.
Geco has a chromatic scheme that emphasizes the curves of the hull and the superstructure. The external areas of Geco are characterized by the presence of sculptural elements such as the bar counter, the sunbathing areas and the stainless steel stairs that connect the different decks.
The upper deck is connected by a sliding glass door which eliminates the separation between the upper lounge, the external hall and the dining area; the bar area is also designed without interruption between internal and external environments and the continuous dialogue between the spaces is represented by a long counter dedicated to wine tasting and cocktail service.
There is a heliport positioned in the front of the yacht. The sun deck features a Jacuzzi tub and a gym area.
The interior décor is a blend of timeless French allure mixed with more contemporary Italian design. French wooden boiserie, Italian marbles, bronzed metal details and leather walls create a sophisticated environment with an international flavor. There are materials such as wengé, natural oak and golden Calacatta marble that enhance the richness of the interior.
Geco’s colors were carefully selected, the main elements are neutral nuances with bronzed metal details and bold tones such as navy blue and cognac orange. In the circular design dining room, there is an interesting chandelier that presents an exceptional wavy effect thanks to hundreds of rods of colored crystals.
Geco can accommodate up to 12 guests in the four double staterooms, an elegant VIP cabin, plus an owner’s suite with private study.
