Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina
The four-season resort in Newport, RI, Gurney’s Newport is situated on Goat Island and surrounded by Narragansett Bay. The property offers the seclusion of a private island yet is just a jaunt from the shops and eateries of downtown Newport. The state- of- the art marina features 22 slips accommodating boats from small tenders to 125 feet. Fully operational for transient dockage, with the average depth of the water is 20 feet to accommodate large vessels, marina guests can dine at Scarpetta or have room service onboard. Private sailing lessons, sunset cruises and water sports also available. Launch service to town is fully operational and offered daily, with departure to town at the top of every hour and retrieval from town at the bottom of every hour.
