The Ancona shipyard project management team worked closely with the high-powered technical office—bringing its wealth of expertise in developing metal yachts—along with the production department and the owner and his people to bring this unique project to life. The yacht is built around the supreme livability of the many spacious guest and crew areas with their luminous interiors. To fulfill this vision, the designers paid special attention to the ceiling heights and to creating comfortable living areas with a strong sense of spaciousness. Large, luminous indoor and outdoor spaces interconnected in masterful style for living those long cruises to the full, are a running theme in this masterpiece of nautical art. Grand, full-height windows unite in a visual continuum, bathing the spaces in light while creating a sensation of even greater volume and enabling constant direct contact with the sea.

The result is a high-tech superyacht built with a meticulous eye for the materials used for the awnings and finishings. These were selected after a major in-depth study of their properties, to assure the extraordinary performance required in the contract in terms of weight and speed. When applying the teak and during the levelling stage, lightweight materials like cork were firmly preferred to heavier alternatives.

CRN’s specialist engineers and technical experts have devised a design that uses an extremely precise system of strain gauges to constantly monitor the vessel’s weight and center of gravity via Wi-Fi. The two MTU 20V 4000 M93L engines—the first to be fitted on a CRN yacht—combine with the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system to power the vessel to a top speed of over 25 knots with a cruising speed of 22.5. Assuring this level of pace demanded a huge effort from the engineers to optimize the design, calculating everything to considerable precision. The result is a supremely innovative, lightweight, high-performance superyacht.

The 60-meter CRN 141 is IMO Tier III certified, assuring drastic reductions of up to 70 percent in harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the engine exhaust.
