One of the most anticipated new launches of the year, the new 256-foot-7-inch (78.2-meter) Venus slid into the water at Feadship’s Aalsmeer yard in the Netherlands on October 28. A plea from Feadship Director Henk de Vries to respect the owners’ privacy and keep a lid on their identity followed shortly after—a nearly impossible feat. Suffice to say that this all-aluminum yacht is one of a kind, designed for and by visionaries. Stay tuned for more on this spectacular new addition to the Feadship fleet.
