How sleek can you be?

Apparently, it is possible to be pretty big (in this case about 188 feet 4 inches long by 33 feet 10 inches wide) and stay sleek. This aluminum yacht (an advanced and ready-to-build concept) was born on the computer screen of designer Francesco Paszkowski who, of late, has collaborated with the Dutch builder on a couple of interior designs. Among the nifty features of this five-cabin yacht with a top speed of about 23 knots, is the foredeck area. A bimini rises to shade what becomes a nice open-air lounge. If the lines remind you of a fuselage, it is no accident. While conserving the spirit of more traditional Heesen yachts, Paszkowski introduced design elements from both the aeronautical and automotive world. The concept is based upon Van Oossanen’s Fast Displacement Hull. You can read more about this hull design on yachtsmagazine.com
