Builder has wind in its sails
Perini Navi began 2013 with the launch of State of Grace, the first yacht in its new 40-Meter Fast Cruising series entirely built at the group’s Istanbul Yildiz shipyard in Turkey. Ron Holland, in collaboration with the Perini team, designed this all-aluminum 131-foot sailing yacht, which is comfortable and performance oriented. “An optimized hull shape maximizes windward performance and all-round stability. These features are not only designed to improve speed under sail, but also to create a comfortable yacht for all aboard, ” Holland said.

State of Grace’s interiors, created by Perini’s in-house designers, will be classic with a contemporary flair. The yacht’s four cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite with gym, can accommodate up to nine guests.
This year is an important one for Perini Navi, which also will launch the first of its 197-foot (60-meter) series sailing ketches (hull C.2180), and from the Picchiotti shipyard, the much-anticipated 240-foot (73-meter) flagship of the Vitruvius series, a spectacular and innovative motoryacht.
