Alex G. Clarke announces that Denison Yacht Sales is the new US representative for Mondo Marine. As Mondo Marine North America, the Fort Lauderdale-based brokerage firm will serve as the shipyard’s direct representative on the North American market. Mondo Marine, based in Savona, Italy, is a member of the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss), a professional organization representing the world’s top builders. In 2012, Roberto Zambrini took the helm as CEO of Mondo Marine Spa and Mondo Marine Engineering. A few months later, in Monaco, the builder showcased one its latest builds, the 134-foot (41-meter) all-aluminum Okko, and introduced several new models. Pictured here is the M50, an explorer signed by designers Hot Lab, which will be delivered in 2014. With new leadership and new models, the experienced shipyard set its sights on the Americas.

“This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well respected member of SYBAss and a financially strong shipyard. Currently, we are working to finalize two additional new construction contracts so the yard is extremely busy with our order book almost at maximum capacity. The vision that Roberto Zambrini has for the future of Mondo Marine is very special and something the Denison team and I are proud to be a part of,” Clarke said as he returned from a trip to Italy to ink the deal.

Mondo Marine’s Fort Lauderdale office joins newly opened locations in Milan and São Paolo, Brazil with a London office slated to open in the near future.
