Boston Whaler Unveils 2014 Dauntless line
Boston Whaler introduced its new Dauntless lineup for 2014, which includes a new 210 and 240 as well as a 170 and the flagship 270.

The new 210 Dauntless and 240 Dauntless have the option of an all-activity tower with a ski pylon and racks and feature a swim platform so swimmers can keep a safer distance from the prop while in the water.
The flagship 270 Dauntless features flip-up backrests and storage under the bow seats. A forward lounge seat features fold-down armrests and a lockable storage compartment with space for fishing rods, two 5-gallon buckets, dive tanks and additional gear. Options include a 30-gallon live well, a sink, rod holders and a raw-water washdown.
In the aft section, the 270 features a flip-up stern seat with a backrest that transforms to an elevated non-skid platform.
On Dauntless models from the 170 up to the 240, anglers can choose a reversible pilot seat with a live well or additional storage. All Dauntless models offer available Raymarine navigation packages. The 210 features a bow sun lounge option.All Dauntless models feature aft seating that transforms into a full-width casting platform.

Fairline’s new Flagship: Targa 75 GT
Following the sporty Targa 62 Gran Turismo (GT), the first of U.K.-based Fairline’s new flagship is on its way. The Targa 75 GT includes an extended cockpit with wet bar, lounging areas, a triple sunpad and a tender garage. The submersible bathing platform assists with launching and recovery of the tender. On the foredeck is more lounging and sunbathing space, as well as the option for a hot tub. Inside, the model is available with either three or four cabin layouts, all en suite. In either option, the master suite spreads across the full beam of the yacht and the includes a lounging area, dressing room and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. In the three-cabin plan, the galley—which includes a freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, wine cooler, washer and dryer—is placed below to open up space on the main deck. The décor of the yacht is at the discretion of the owner with multiple fabric and joinery options available. Caterpillar C32 engines come standard with power options including 1,622, 1,825 and 1,925 horsepower. With the largest power package, the yacht is expected to reach up to 40 knots. The Targa 75 GT is due for launch late 2014 and the yard plans to unveil her during the 2015 boat show season.
