Construction is on schedule at Italy’s CRN shipyard for Riva’s new flagship: the 122-foot (37-meter) Mythos model. She is the builder’s largest yacht to date and its first built completely of light aluminum alloy. Riva’s diversified range spans 12 models between 27 and 122 feet, including open, coupe and flybridge yachts. The Mythos model is the culmination of a longstanding partnership between two historic Ferretti Group brands: Riva, which in 2012 celebrated its 170th anniversary, and CRN, the group’s superyacht shipyard. Riva’s Mauro Micheli leads the new yacht’s design process in coordination with Ferretti’s Advanced Yacht Technology center and Centro Stile Ferrettigroup. Her planing hull is projected to reach a top speed of 27.5 knots with twin MTU 12V4000s. Delivery is expected in April.
