Pacific Asian Enterprises, Inc. (PAE) has announced the delivery of hull number one of the Nordhavn 100. Named Serenity, the N100 was handed over to her new owners in June, and is currently in the midst of a shakedown cruise throughout Mexico.
Serenity is the first custom-built 100-foot Nordhavn afloat. She is based on the hull of the Nordhavn 86/96 and includes an additional “proper” sportfishing cockpit, required by her owner, who is an avid fisherman. Completely separate from the “California” deck, the fishing cockpit is courtesy of an elongated transom and swim step that extends the boat’s LOA by 36 inches.

Serenity’s interior is comprised of a unique layout, which the owner helped design in order to achieve the ample number of staterooms required (5) for his family, plus sufficient quarters for crew. The result is a five-stateroom retreat, each with ensuite head, plus accommodations for a crew of four.
Destry Darr Desgins created Serenity‘s modern, elegant and comfortable living spaces that feature walnut wood, stainless steel inlays, Lutron lighting and extraordinary stone work. The medium-dark colored wood sets off a neutral color scheme of gray, cream and brown and allows the vibrant artwork throughout the boat to stand out.
Serenity’s hull color is a striking hue of “Stars and Stripes” blue.
