The largest yacht built by Italy-based CRN splashed in January, to great fanfare. The owner’s family attended along with 3,000 others, including every craftsperson who worked on her and their families, residents of CRN’s home base of Ancona and even the Chinese ambassador to Italy (a Chinese firm is the majority stakeholder of CRN’s parent company). The family that commissioned Chopi Chopi signed the contract a few years ago, the same day they signed one for another, smaller yacht to be built at the yard. Two interesting features are an upper-deck dining room with sliding glass doors to each side and a deck devoted to the owner.
