Regarding the sale of the 110, Mangusta’s Commercial Director Francesco Frediani said, “This sale is the result of great teamwork”, states “The Owner is an American who already knew our brand but fell in love with it while spending his summer holidays in the Mediterranean Sea. Mangusta’s network closely cooperated and played a vital role in this important achievement”.

The Mangusta 110 has MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, yielding a maximum speed of over 33 knots, and her shallow 5ft 6in -(1.7m-) draft makes her ideal for Florida and the Bahamas. Thanks to water-jet propulsion, she glides on the water, without the slightest vibrations. She is equipped with a gyroscopic stabilization system, that ensures the comfort both at anchor and when cruising, in any and all sea conditions as well as at lower speeds. This results in a wider range of uses and opportunities, but also in optimised consumption.

Easy to maneuver by joystick, the yacht is fitted with the dynamic positioning function, which means she will maintain a set position by interfacing with the GPS system and the anemometers installed onboard. A second control station is located on the sundeck.

This unit, the fifth in the series, features a typical American layout, and the Shipyard’s Interiors Department is working side by side with the Owner to select furniture, décor and furnishings.

Delivery is expected in 2020.

And regarding the Gransport 45—Project Amalfi— this yacht is the 45-meter model in the Mangusta GranSport fast displacement line, a series that combines high speed performances, long range, and comfort.

The Owner is an experienced yachtsman who has chosen this model to use it not only in the Mediterranean, moving quickly from one location to the next, but also enjoying long-range cruises, relying on her outstanding technical features and transoceanic range to reach remote destinations.

Already a Mangusta Owner, he has chosen this brand once more for its values and performances.

When a new Customer joins the Mangusta family, he knows he is going to find exactly what he is looking for” comments Mangusta’s Commercial Director Francesco Frediani. “Many of our Owners have kept choosing us over the years, growing alongside us and, more recently, showing great appreciation for our new lines too, as proven by the sale of 10 Mangusta Oceano and Gransport units in only three years since their presentation”.

This Owner fell in love with the Mangusta GranSport 45 for her design and versatility. Designed by Alberto Mancini, she features a timeless, contemporary, very Italian style. The greatest focus is on al fresco areas, but the seamless passage between the interiors and exteriors is equally important. A truly distinctive element is the upper deck, where the central lounge opens up both towards the stern, through large sliding glazed doors, and towards the forward sundeck. Here, a comfortable lounge area faces two spacious sunbeds, at the centre of which stands a Jacuzzi bathtub for up to 7 people.

Another noteworthy feature is the aft beach area. Moving the garage towards the bow has allowed the creation of a new living area: two terraces rotate from the side bulwarks of the hull and connect with the central platform, resulting in a 75 sq. m area directly in contact with the sea.

The Mangusta GranSport 45’s impressive maximum speed of 26 knots, her transoceanic range (3,500 miles at 11 knots), and her limited draught of 2.2 m (7’ 2”) allowing to cruise in very shallow waters mean that the Owner can freely decide how to use his yacht, depending on his own imagination and creativity.

Delivery is expected in 2020.
