The Perini Navi group ended the year on a high note with the signing of a 226-foot (69-meter) sailing yacht, the company’s largest sailing yacht since the Maltese Falcon. Philippe Briand worked closely with Perini Navi on the design of this technologically advanced sailing yacht, consistent with the Perini Navi style. In addition to new contracts signed in 2011, Perini Navi launched several vessels, including sailing yacht Fidelis, motoryacht Galileo G and sailing yacht Clan VII, the fourth yacht in its 45-meter series. The result of the collaboration between Ron Holland and Perini Navi’s in-house design team, Clan VII is a sloop featuring a spacious flybridge and an opening stern revealing a structural staircase descending to a large swimming platform. The interior, designed in-house, is inspired by a classical contemporary design and combines ebony and teak woods to create an elegant atmosphere.
