Construction has begun on the Italian Sea Group’s 82-meter Galileo. The sale of the yacht, completed in December 2021 through the U.S. broker FGI Yachts, marked The Italian Sea Group’s official entrance in the U.S. market for large yachts, consolidating the group’s position as a reference global player in the sector.

The expansion of The Italian Sea Group’s commercial presence in the States has continued with the opening, in August, of the first flagship store in East Hampton, Long Island. The company’s U.S. presence expanded further with the inauguration in September of the first after-sales point in Miami, Florida, with delivery of the first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 in the U.S.

The new Admiral Galileo, in steel and aluminum, was designed by The Italian Sea Group’s own Centro Stile in collaboration with Bannenberg Rowell Design, which curated the interior.

The yacht’s exteriors are characterized by elegant and sinuous lines, big spaces on four decks and large windows. It boasts a maximum beam of 13.3 meters, cabins for 12 guests and 28 crew members, along with a 130-square-meter upper deck entirely dedicated to the owner’s cabin.

Living spaces of over 100 square meters on each deck, a waterfall linking two of the four pools on board—one of which is 7.5×3.5 meters in length—an underwater cinema lounge and a beach area with gym, spa, and massage room are among the yacht’s many appealing features.

Another innovative element aboard the yacht is a long, glass corridor that goes through the engine room showcasing the engineering, as well as connecting the spa area with the upper deck foyer.

“The keel laying ceremony is always a special moment in the construction of a yacht, especially for a custom-made project of such dimensions and such innovative characteristics, both from an aesthetic and an engineering point of view,” commented Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “The growing interest in our yachts coming from the U.S. market shows the validity of our commercial strategy in the area and confirms TISG’s ability to anticipate and satisfy the requests of clients who are always more demanding and oriented to quality without compromises.”

Delivery of the new Admiral Galileo is scheduled for July 2025.
