The Mangusta 165 REV project, which was introduced into the market in the summer of 2021, is the 50-meter flagship of the new Maxi Open REV series. She represents a celebration of design and functionality, comfort and great performances. Hulls #1 and #2 are currently under construction at the Overmarine Group facility. Hull #2 is available for sale with delivery due in Summer 2023
This is a project developed jointly by Overmarine’s Engineering Department in collaboration with renowned studio Lobanov design, which had already drawn the outer lines of the Mangusta 104 REV and has now left his unique mark on this new Open model, too.
The vessel is characterized by an aggressive profile and sleek, dynamic lines that the studio Lobanov design says were inspired by the vintage rides of the 1930s. This means classic, timeless beauty, which, however, on this model, goes hand in hand with dramatically scaled-up performances and a refreshed, renovated concept of lifestyle.
Key elements on the 165 REV, just like on all Mangusta yachts, are the impressive onboard volumes, the comfort of en plein air areas, and the smooth, uninterrupted flow between the interior and exterior.
The owner onboard can fully enjoy the sea thanks to the multiple areas of privacy or socialization and experience a holiday that can change landscape every day, passing from one location to another in a short time, such as waking up in Portofino and then reaching the Costa Smeralda.
One of the brand-new features on this yacht is the beach area: the aft door opens like the roof of a convertible sporty car, revealing a magnificent 387 sqft/36sqm fully-equipped lounge area on the sea. The side garage can fit a tender and 2 jet-skis.
At the heart of the vessel is a spacious main salon which comes complete with a sofa, dining area, and a bar that’s illuminated by three skylights. Elsewhere on the main deck, there’s an airy, two-level master stateroom that spans 990sqft /92sqm and includes a personal office, lounge and full-beam bathroom. The lower deck, meanwhile, will house four double staterooms and a VIP cabin. Alternatively, the layout can be customized with four cabins and a media & lounge area or a gym.
