• Malta’s beautiful Grand Harbour Marina is expanding. The owner of the 253-foot (77-meter) Samar has purchased a new 328-foot (100-meter) berth in anticipation of his new yacht. The end of construction should coincidence with the delivery of Samar’s big sister.
• Cesme Marina, on the Izmir Peninsula, offers 400 berths for yachts up to 197 feet (60 meters) in length. The marina, located on the western end of Turkey’s Izmir peninsula, is a good base of operation for cruising the Greek islands. It is about 45 minutes away from the Adnan Menderes International Airport.

• Limassol’s brand-new marina is set to open in Cyprus this summer, and the management is offering discounted rates for its inaugural season.
