After a two year 40 million dollar renovation, The Town of Palm Beach has completed a transformation of the Old Town Docks, creating an enhanced destination for world-class yacht owners. The complex reopened on November 1, after being closed for almost two years, and is now welcoming vessels from 60 feet to 294 feet in length. The marina is currently taking seasonal and transient slip reservations and is almost 90 percent full.

“We are excited to welcome guests to the new Palm Beach Marina and introduce our upgraded amenities and services,” said Mike Horn, the Marina Dockmaster. “We are thrilled to showcase what the marina has to offer and meet the expectations of our select clientele and enhancing the luxury offerings of the Town of Palm Beach.”

The Palm Beach Marina is now providing patrons with 84 slips, located along the classic Australian, Brazilian, Peruvian docks, and the newly constructed 250-foot Royal Palm Dock. Marina patrons will benefit from an enhanced master plan that includes a concrete floating dock system, while enjoying a suite of technological upgrades such as high-speed Wi-Fi, enhanced expanded shore power with up to 200 amps, 480v 3 phase, and state-of-the-art security systems. These include added cameras on the docks, at entryways, and in the parking lots. Access to the parking lot is now navigated via a password protected smartphone app. In addition, boaters can now easily reserve dockage using the online service Dockwa via the Marina website.
“Previously, only one slip in the marina could accommodate a 200-foot yacht. Now there are 10 that can handle boats that size. The largest, a T-head at the Australian Dock, can hold a super yacht up to 294 feet,” said Horn.

Other additions include dedicated golf carts for moving luggage or other belongings along the docks. Trash pickup has also been made more convenient with boat side service several times daily. Staffing has been increased, with dock attendants and other team members on-hand for guest assistance and services.
Marina patrons can also enjoy complimentary access to exclusive neighboring facilities, including the oceanfront Par 3 Golf Course, the recently updated health and wellness facilities at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center, and the Town’s 13 premier tennis courts.

Anchored in the heart of the community, the Town of Palm Beach’s one and only public marina and world-class yacht center offers front-row access to a timeless destination. It is only steps away from the famed Worth Avenue, Palm Beach’s landmark shopping and dining district, which features an array of luxury boutiques and al fresco dining. Palm Beach Marina patrons can be a part of the desirable lifestyle that this eclectic Americana destination offers.
“With this exciting renovation, the Town of Palm Beach Marina is certain to become an undisputed highlight for the whole South Florida region,” said Carolyn Stone, Palm Beach Assistant Town Manager. “We are home to legendary resorts, exquisite mansions, and historic landmarks, and are now excited to add the Town Marina to the list of reasons why there is no place quite like Palm Beach.”

The Marina is located at 500 Australian Avenue in the Town of Palm Beach For general inquiries about long-term dockage, storage, and other services.
