The Ferretti Group has acquired Wally Yachts and plans to make a significant investment in the brand including supporting the design and construction of new Wally products. The new Wally models will be built at the Ferretti Group shipyards.
One of the first new launches under the Ferretti brand will be the 48 Wallytender, scheduled for launch this summer at Ferretti’s Forli, Italy, yard. An evolution from earlier models, this tender has more interior volume, enhanced comfort and increased functionality.

The new model is ideal for both day cruising and overnight trips. The aft seating can be configured to face forward while underway or convert to face the dining table when at anchor. The galley has two cooktop rings and a sink and there are two refrigerators—one inside and one outside. The deck features a hardtop for sun protection and optional awnings fore and aft supported by removable carbon fiber poles. Adopting the opening bulwark technology from the 118 Wallypower, the swim platform can be extended with fold-down bulwarks. A retractable passarelle doubles as a 5-step swim ladder. With its single level, nonslip deck and deep, secure bulwarks, this tender is a fun and safe family boat. Standard propulsion is a pair of Volvo IPS 650s totaling 1,020 horsepower for a top speed of 38 knots.
