Yachtzoo today announced that its partners have appointed David Ross as chief executive officer of their USA office, effective 7 July 2015.
“This is the perfect time for David Ross to become Yachtzoo’s chief executive officer of our American office based in Fort Lauderdale. Our CEO needs to thrive in a highly dynamic environment, to be capable of accelerating what is working very well for Yachtzoo, and introducing change where it is required. David is unique in his ability to translate vision and strategy into world-class execution, bringing together teams and strategies to drive results. David will move the company forward with the speed required to capitalize on the opportunities in front of us. He is a champion of the Yachtzoo culture and has an incredible ability to inspire, energize, and connect with employees and customers. For over 15 years, Ross was President, CEO and Co-Owner of Burger Boat Company. He led the re-opening and transformation of the renowned brand into a world-class, state-of-the-art company with over 500 gifted employees at the main shipyard/offices in Manitowoc, the Yacht Charter/Brokerage Division and Service Division in Fort Lauderdale and the International Sales Division in Monaco. Ross was closely involved in the sale, design and construction of 35 yachts.
