For the 54th year, Fort Lauderdale hosts the largest in-water boat show in the world. This year, Show Management is rolling out new attractions and events, including a special new venue for Yachts International’s Owner’s Pavilion.

The Newport Charter Yacht Show just wrapped its annual show and we look back at what happened this year, but it’s not too early to look forward to the Fort Lauderdale show. October will be here sooner than you think!

The 2013 Art Basel in Switzerland marked the event’s 44th anniversary. Now with over 333,681 square feet (31,000 square meters) of exhibition space, Art Basel saw approximately 70,000 visitors walking its galleries this year.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show is always a favorite with exhibitors and attendees. It’s not too big, not too small and, if Goldilocks were reporting, she would say, “This show is just right!”

Springtime each year sees Molo Vecchio, the historic port of Genoa in Italy, packed with charter yachts eager to show how good they are to an assembled audience of charter brokers. The 25th commemorative edition of the MYBA Charter Show in late April and early May did not disappoint. More than 60 yachts attended.

The Antibes Yacht Show has grown since it’s inception in 2007 and this trend continued during the 2013 Antibes Yacht Show. It stretches from the Old Harbour to the International Yacht Club of Antibes. This year it played host to some of the largest yachts the show has seen.

Palma, Mallorca will host the eighth annual Future of Superyachts conference on June 18 and 19. Hosted by Quaynote at the five-star Nixe Palace Hotel, this two-day conference offers industry professionals multiple opportunities for networking and learning more about the current hot topics.

The Fort Yachtie Da International Film Festival is already in its sixth year and the festival is officially open to entries for the 2013 contest. Captains and crews are invited to put together a five-minute video and showcase almost anything.
