Logos Marine has introduced a new 88-foot (27-meter) “Fast Passage” yacht designed in collaboration with Setzer Yacht Architects for an experienced owner.

The semi-displacement hull is designed for extended range and fuel efficiency at slow speeds, as well as fast cruise options with Caterpillar C-18 propulsion. While most yachts in this size range are constructed of fiberglass composite, the new Logos 88 will have a steel hull and a lightweight composite superstructure, which gave Setzer free range for the styling above the waterline.
The US design firm gave the yacht multiple mixed-use outdoor seating and entertainment spaces, including aft deck, foredeck and flybridge sun lounges. The Logos 88 SD also features a hot tub and an oversized swim platform. Accommodations will include a full-beam master and VIP staterooms, two guest cabins, and generous aft crew quarters with laundry and crew mess.
The first Logos 88 SD will be MCA-compliant and built to charter class rules. Construction is scheduled to start in early 2013 for a summer 2014 delivery.
