On March 23, the Yachts International Lake Pavilion at the Palm Beach Boat Show was the venue for the kick-off party for the new foundation, Ports of Cause (POC). The primary sponsors of the event were Active Interest Media and Element Financial.

The AIM Marine Group is hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner for many of the Hurricane Sandy victims in Long Beach, NY. The neighborhood, located on the westernmost barrier island of Long Island in Nassau County, suffered extensive flooding from Sandy’s storm surge.

The International SeaKeepers Society hosts its Founders Dinner in Fort Lauderdale on October 24. The event is an excellent networking opportunity as well as a great way to raise the funds necessary for the organization to continue its diverse programs.
