Designers and builders of sailing yachts greater than 100 feet (30.4 meters) are being tasked with creating vessels that not only are beautiful, comfortable and safe, but also achieve a high level of sailing performance. There’s been a change at the helm of Danish Yachts. Patrik von Sydow has been named CEO of the shipyard, located in Skagen, Denmark. A Swedish national, Von Sydow most recently served as CEO of Numarine and has enjoyed a long career in the yachting industry, including holding positions at Sealine and Sunseeker.
