For the 54th year, Fort Lauderdale hosts the largest in-water boat show in the world. This year, Show Management is rolling out new attractions and events, including a special new venue for Yachts International’s Owner’s Pavilion.
The Palm Beach International Boat Show is always a favorite with exhibitors and attendees. It’s not too big, not too small and, if Goldilocks were reporting, she would say, “This show is just right!”
On March 23, the Yachts International Lake Pavilion at the Palm Beach Boat Show was the venue for the kick-off party for the new foundation, Ports of Cause (POC). The primary sponsors of the event were Active Interest Media and Element Financial.
The future looked bright for the yachting business after the recent Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, which lined Collins Avenue with one of the biggest fleets in its 25-year history. Exhibitors of everything from motoryachts to water toys to bottom paint gave the show glowing reviews.
Wind, rain or sunshine, the Yachts International Pavilion saw steady crowds throughout the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Yacht owners, announcers and yachting-industry VIPs mingled in the newly redecorated private lounge; enjoyed daily chef-prepared buffets, cocktails and conversations; and watched chefs battled it out during Galley Wars at the adjacent Captain’s Den.
