Etoile d’Azur gains new life

Moonen recently relaunched the seventh hull in the Moonen 84 line after a successful five-month refit at the yard. Etoile d’Azur, a René van der Velden design originally delivered in 2007 and still in the hands of her original owners, now boasts an extended flybridge, as well as systems upgrades, fresh paint and the installation of a more power-efficient at-anchor stabilization system. Extending the flybridge served multiple purposes, according to the yacht’s captain, Tristan le Brun. It now provides ample shade for the alfresco dining area on the main deck, while also creating extra storage for the additional watersports toys the owners would like to carry. The owners have already cruised for more than 5,000 hours on board their yacht and now plan on heading to Scandinavia and exploring the Norwegian fjords.
