It has been a few years since Magnum has showcased a boat in Miami, but this year Magnum returns with another attention-grabber. The Magnum 51 Bestia is a powerhouse of a boat with a solid hull and a top speed of 62 knots. The deep-vee design is meant to slice through the waves, but the amenities both above and belowdecks ensure complete comfort. On the main deck, the aft sunpad backs up against an L-shaped seat. Forward, the port helm station with seating for two is mirrored by another bench seat to starboard. Access to the lower deck is through a stairway concealed between two helm stations. Available in a couple of layouts, the lower deck is surprisingly spacious. There’s enough room for a queen cabin, full head, galley, dinette and crew cabin in one layout option. The second layout leaves a larger open multi-purpose space while still including the full head and galley. Even better? Either option comes with seven feet of headroom.
