The Riva 88′ Folgore sport-fly doesn’t just challenge the waves; it redefines innovation itself. This yacht is a masterpiece of design that combines exquisite craftsmanship, cutting-edge materials and an unfailing Riva heritage. The 88′ Folgore seems to come from the future, but has the evocative mood of tradition.

Like all masterpieces in Riva’s recent history, the Riva 88′ Folgore is the result of the successful collaboration between Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design; the Strategic Product Committee led by Eng. Piero Ferrari; and Ferretti Group Engineering Management. With a length of 26.92 meters (88.32 feet) and a beam of 6.31 meters (20.7 feet), this sport-fly is a tangible testimony to Riva’s philosophy of marrying past and present in a harmonious dance of elegance and innovation. The magnetic appeal of her design is all in the harmony between past and present—in the concept that combines innovative materials such as carbon with traditional styling elements including mahogany inlays and decorative steel.

The Riva 88′ Folgore is presented with a “Shark Gray” hull and details in “Bright Black,” respecting Riva’s color tradition. The innovative approach emerges in the completely redesigned stern with a multifunctional hatch that opens parallel to the waterline to create a 6-square-meter (64.6-square-foot) beach club or dives to allow launching the tender. The garage can accommodate a Williams SportJet 395 and a personal watercraft.
The cockpit, accessible via two teak side steps, offers a 22-square-meter (236.8-square-foot) multifunctional space. Aft is a large dining area with a sofa that converts to a sundeck. To port is a service cabinet with storage space, and to starboard is a sleek bar cabinet in Stone by Florim marble. The functional design extends to the 20-square-meter (215.3-square-foot) sport-fly, with sundeck, sofas and central command station that can be fully covered by awnings.

The interior of the Riva 88′ Folgore welcomes guests in an open-plan environment with a lounge, dining area and helm station. The 2-meter (6.56-foot) headroom provides unparalleled comfort, while the mix of woods, leathers and steel creates an elegant decor.
The salon, furnished with a Poliform sofa and a gray marble coffee table, offers a panoramic view of the sea. The dining area, with a large smoked-glass table and Minotti chairs, can seat up to 8 people. The command bridge, separated by a smoked-crystal wall, provides privacy for the captain.

The lower deck of the Riva 88′ Folgore accommodates 4 cabins, including the full-beam owner’s suite amidships. The suite, offered in three different layouts, offers exclusive luxury with a master bathroom, walk-in closet and vanity nook. The choice of materials such as polished rosewood, leather and white parquet creates elegant contrasts.

The galley and crew area, located on the lower deck for maximum privacy, are separated by dedicated doors. The crew area includes two cabins with bunk beds and private bathrooms, with direct access to the engine room.
The Riva 88′ Folgore is propelled by a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L thrusters, which produce 39 knots of top speed. The helm station is equipped with a Xenta electrohydraulic wheelhouse and a LOOP integrated dashboard developed in cooperation with Naviop-Simrad. The maneuvering joystick, DPS (Dynamic Positioning System) and Humphree dynamic trim correctors ensure total control in every situation.
