DAY 1: KOTOR, MONTENEGRO
Arrive in unique Montenegro, a pearl of the Mediterranean, and settle in the comfort of Penny Mae. The cruise will start among mountains rising like ramparts above the sea. Heading off to Croatia, just around the corner, enjoy the wealth and beauty of Montenegro’s “inside” coastline while settling on board.

DAY 2: CAVTAT & UVALA SAPLUNARA, OTOK MLJET
Penny Mae will anchor off Cavtat in time for breakfast, and in order to clear customs into Croatia. Once formalities are complete, the yacht will cruise two hours to Uvala Sapluna for an afternoon of watersports and swimming. If time allows, Penny Mae will then cruise to nearby Luka on the Island of Sipan and anchor for the night.
DAY 3: POLACE & POMENA, OTOK MLJET
Arriving early, Penny Mae will anchor in a national park near Polace. Spend the day riding bicycles, touring the national park and visit the Island of Sveta Marija and its 15th-century Benedictine monastery. A short mid-afternoon cruise will see Penny Mae anchor off the village of Pomena for the night.
DAY 4: OREBIC & KORCULA
After a breakfast cruise, Penny Mae will drop anchor off the historic maritime village of Orebic, where guests will tender ashore for lunch and wine tasting at the Korta Katarina winery. After lunch enjoy a short cruise to enchanting town of Korcula. Regaled as Marco Polo’s birthplace, it is a miniature Dubrovnik with its fortified walls and towers and the city nestled within. Spend the evening soaking up the city. Dine aboard or opt to go out in the old town and visit the very popular Konoba Adio Mare restaurant, right next to Marco Polo’s house.
DAY 5: UVALA STIPANSKA & HVAR
A morning cruise will see Penny Mae anchor off Uvala Stipanska, right in front of “Carpe Diem Beach” (similar to Nikki Beach). Enjoy the day swimming and taking in the sun on the beach, before meeting up with Penny Mae by tender in Hvar in the mid-afternoon. Hvar town, on the island of the same name, is the closest Croatia comes to Cannes, with swirling activity along the quayside, terrific people watching and a famous nightlife. It is a good place to eat dinner ashore and enjoy the crowd.
DAY 6: SVETI KLEMENT & VIS
After breakfast Penny Mae will leave Hvar Port and drop anchor nearby at the picturesque Sveti Klement. The bay is packed with bars and restaurants, great swimming, and is an excellent daytime relaxing spot. After lunch and a last swim, Penny Mae will cruise the short distance to the island of Vis, where we anchor near the town for the night. Take a stroll ashore and visit the archeological museum, ISSA, the oldest Greek colony in the Adriatic (4th century BC).
DAY 7: SKRADIN & SIBENIK
Having departed Vis very early, wake up while Penny Mae cruises up the Krka River (near Sibenik), and anchors near the town of Skradin, which has an ancient history of occupation by various victors. This freshwater paradise, located on the Krka river, features beautiful waterfalls, ancient mills (visited by local boat) and the small Franciscan island of Visovac. After exploring the waterfalls, Penny Mae will cruise back down the river and spend the night in Sibenik, which is located in a deep bay and it is one of the Adriatic coasts’ most naturally protected harbors. Little streets lead to attractive squares where modern shops blend nicely with the fine and stylish architecture of the vanished centuries.

Day 8: SPLIT & TROGIR
Penny Mae will depart early from Sibenik and anchor mid morning near the city of Split. More than 1700 years old, Split is rich with heritage and is famous for its restaurants, shops and pubbing / clubbing scene. Get dropped off by tender and enjoy the sights and sounds of this vibrant city while Penny Mae moves around to Trogir and its overnight dockage. When finished in Split, take the scenic tender ride over to Trogir, a quaint medieval village, filled with churches, towers, fortresses and outdoor restaurants, where Penny Mae will be berthed for the night.
DAY 9: BOL & UVALA LUCICE, OTOK BRAC
Penny Mae will depart early in order to anchor off Bol, Croatia’s most famous spit of sand (beach), for lunch. Spend the entire day enjoying watersports and the beach before Penny Mae moves to our overnight anchorage at Uvala Lucice.
DAY 10: DUBROVNIK
Arrive early and dock in one of the Mediterranean’s gems, comprising a mix of history, architecture and storybook-cobblestoned streets. It hardly needs an introduction, as Dubrovnik is probably Croatia’s best-known city. Ramparts, dating back to the 16th century, surround the old town and enough churches, palaces, monuments, monasteries and museums, for a full year of discovery. Spend the day exploring the city before returning to Penny Mae for your final night aboard.
DEPARTURE DAY: CAVTAT
After an early-morning breakfast cruise, Penny Mae will berth stern to in the port of Cavtat, which is conveniently located near to Dubrovnik’s airport.
Note:
An alternative departure port could be Zadar or Trogir; both have airports capable of handling large aircraft. This would reduce the amount of travel time at sea considerably.
