In the port of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, one marina has been rebuilding and redesigning its facilities with yachting in mind. Now, Marina Oceania has become the country’s first true fully equipped marina.

The latest involves the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Suppliers and Drifters.

The 2013 Art Basel in Switzerland marked the event’s 44th anniversary. Now with over 333,681 square feet (31,000 square meters) of exhibition space, Art Basel saw approximately 70,000 visitors walking its galleries this year.

A U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge in Florida denied a trustee’s emergency motion requesting that Yacht Path International be allowed to use cash collateral to continue operations, according to court documents, resulting in the company’s shutdown.

The Antibes Yacht Show has grown since it’s inception in 2007 and this trend continued during the 2013 Antibes Yacht Show. It stretches from the Old Harbour to the International Yacht Club of Antibes. This year it played host to some of the largest yachts the show has seen.

More than one shipyard is getting ready for the busy summer season. Nautor’s Swan recently launched three new yachts, Amels announced a new build, and Monte Carlo is preparing for their new flagship’s debut in Cannes.
