Available in both a sport (550S) and a flybridge (550) edition, Prestige’s new 550 is a 58-foot yacht that combines power and safety. In both versions, the main living spaces are gathered on the main deck, with the galley positioned aft to easily serve both the cockpit and the interior dining area or, in the 550, the flybridge. Large windows provide excellent visibility and nearly 360-degree views. Dual access to the lower deck allows for a private owner’s retreat amidships and a guest area in the bow. Both guest cabins can be converted into twin or double cabins. Another cabin, suitable for crew or occasional guests and located aft, is accessed via the swim platform. One of this boat’s inventive features is a hidden washer/dryer in a compartment underneath the forward stairs. Lounging spaces abound on both versions. On the sport version, a stairway leads to a sundeck atop the cabin. Awnings are optional. The redesigned hull, paired with Zeus Cummins 600hp engines, is quiet and speedy, and the Zeus pod-propulsion system features joystick docking for increased maneuverability. A SeaKeeper 7000A active gyro stabilizer ensures comfort. In addition to all this, the flybridge model offers a second helm station and even more space for lounging in the sun.
